Overview

The Senior Client Strategist, Western Europe, Middle East & Africa (WE/META) works with our commercial team primarily on B2B strategic client engagements, creating integrated, data-driven marketing programs for our customer base - the world’s largest technology companies.
 
In this role, you conceptualise, design and present marketing programs that integrate Foundry’s comprehensive catalogue of media, content marketing, events, data and MarTech solutions to connect our customer’s brands to their audiences and help drive pipeline for their businesses. 
 
You collaborate with the Global Strategy Marketing services teams, reporting into the Vice President of International Client Strategy. Supporting Foundry’s commercial team in the region, you execute on Foundry’s value proposition; at the intersection of media and data-driven marketing technology, leveraging our global brand platforms, exclusive 1st party data solutions, martech and go to market products and services.
 
Your primary role is to help our customers (technology marketers) drive the adoption of their technology products and solutions. You will have the support of other internal Foundry teams such as Sales enablement, Performance marketing, Ad ops, Media & Services, Data & Software, Social media, Customer experience and Project management.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Client Programs - create and present world-class marketing programs and campaigns for our customers to drive business results. This includes producing and presenting sales decks and results-oriented proposals.
 
Product Innovation – have a keen eye for new developments in the market using data, content, demand, and social media marketing, aligned with Foundry’s solutions portfolio and look to introduce or work on new solutions that we do not have in the portfolio to drive the best results for our customers. This could include building new solutions and partnering with 3rd parties in the B2B media and marketing ecosystems. Previous experience of this is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

Key attributes of the role:
- Digital marketing expertise and planning across media, marketing services, communications, or content marketing in the UK and/or Europe
- Data-driven B2B marketing programs – experience leveraging 1st and 3rd party data and martech platforms to generate leads, pipeline and ROI for brands and organisations. 
- Critical thinking – ability to think strategically with solid business knowledge, some brand research and insight gathering experience, organisationally and business savvy.
- Creative Writing – utilise excellent writing skills and the ability to tailor messages to specific and multiple constituencies.
- Digital and/or Converged Media Expertise – apply a deep enough understanding of the marketing industry to break ground with new ideas that span paid, owned, and earned marketing solutions.
- Big ideas – create impactful marketing concepts and campaigns in response to industry trends and client objectives.
- Proposals creation – create presentations; pitching ideas, commercial flair, leverage excitement, precision, and visual impact to convey an idea.
- Financial prudence – prudence in balancing ideas with budgets to ensure programs are net positives for both Foundry and our clients.
- Confidence and poise – demonstrate strong interpersonal, organisational and presentation skills at a senior level, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels of a matrixed organisation.
- Analytical skills – analyse market data, determine KPI/ROI metrics, and provide strategic insights that map program performance against goals.
- Entrepreneurial and commercial - thrive and move projects forward in a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and high-energy environment.
- Knowledge – stay abreast of marketing technology, content marketing and/or B2B marketing communications innovations globally and in the WE/META region. 
This position works predominantly on B2B campaigns, is located both remotely and in our Soho Square office in London, and reports into the Vice President of International Client Strategy.
